Hello human, I'm @whedon, a robot that can help you with some common editorial tasks. Due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, JOSS is currently operating in a "reduced service mode". You can read more about what that means in our blog post. For a list of things I can do to help you, just type:
For example, to regenerate the paper pdf after making changes in the paper's md or bib files, type:

PDF failed to compile for issue #2256 with the following error: Can't find any papers to compile :-( |
👋 @stheid - where is the paper.md and .bib file for this submission? |
Oh, i assume the issue is caused that the paper is currently not yet on the master branch. The preview worked fine. I am a bit worried about making an ad-hoc merge. Please give me until the end of this work-week to properly finalize our development branch and merge to master. |
@danielskatz i assume it is fine now. the whedon.theoj preview produces a paper if i omit specifying the branch (meaning master branch) |
@whedon generate pdf |
@whedon set v0.2.0 as version |
I'm sorry @stheid, I'm afraid I can't do that. That's something only editors are allowed to do. |
I fixed the whitespace issue |
@whedon set v0.2.0 as version |
OK. v0.2.0 is the version. |
I don't know that the version matters at this point - we will set it at the end of the view process in case further changes are needed |
@whedon check references |

👋 @stheid - Thanks for your submission to JOSS. As described in our blog post announcing the reopening of JOSS, we're currently working in a "reduced service mode", limiting the number of papers assigned to any individual editor. Since reopening JOSS last week, we've had > 60 papers submitted and as such, now that yours is complete, it has been put in our backlog that we will be working through over the coming weeks and months. Thanks in advance for your patience! (Also, I see some possibly missing DOIs in the references - feel free to make change to the bib or md files, and enter |

|
@garrettj403 and @katyhuff do you have the bandwidth to review this manuscript? |
Hi @dhhagan, unfortunately I don't have any time right now. Looks like an interesting project! |
I can review it this weekend, but not sooner (and maybe not later). If that works, @dhhagan , please count me in. |
@dhhagan - whedon commands need to be the first thing in a comment |
@danielskatz Thanks for the info! |
OK, @katyhuff is now a reviewer |
@kczimm @IgorBaratta @pdebuyl are one of you available and interested in completing this review? |
@dhhagan I prefer to skip this one as I am not familiar with the topic. |
@dhhagan sorry, I’m unavailable at this time. |
@garrettj403 - Do you have the availability to review this manuscript? |
Hi @dhhagan, unfortunately I don't have any time right now. Looks like an interesting project! |
This is a bit outside my area, but I can do it if none of the others are available. |
OK, @gonsie is now a reviewer |
@whedon start review |
OK, I've started the review over in #2435. |
