Hello @jceneziojr, the JOSS editorial board is going to review your submission to see if it is in scope for us. Generally, GUIs / web apps for a separate tool are not in scope, particularly in this case when the underlying software package has already been published by JOSS (SysIdentPy: https://joss.theoj.org/papers/10.21105/joss.02384). We will get back to you within a week or so.

Hello @jceneziojr, unfortunately upon review the JOSS editorial board has found that your submission is outside our scope, since it implements a GUI for other software that has already been published by JOSS.

We encourage you to look at other options for archiving your software, such as using Zenodo to create a permanent archive and DOI for your software. This DOI can then be used by others to cite your work.
