With the new subresolutions support, MinimalTiffReader's initFile implementation performs all of the necessary steps for dealing with pyramid files.

Retested 13-01-17 - some resolved - some still not working - some thumbnail not rendering - images are. One exception error message. Full details in comment on ticket: |

Required for FS interaction with big images. 10188 has been closed (and thoroughly tested). |

This is the same as gh-478 but rebased onto develop.

pyramid files.
This PR plus ome/bioformats#211 should resolve ticket #9871.
