Searching for my current phone number, Google's search result page only shows 3 (doubtful, generic) results below my (Google) business profile, although my phone number is present on my page in different notations already:

  • visually spaced (thus chunked into span elements)
  • as a full international phone uri starting with +49 as a link target

Expected behaviour:

  • search results for the full international phone notation should include my official website!

Possible fixes:

  • explicitly add this full international phone number notation as a string to my page's markup (possibly visually hidden)
