[BUG][MDS] Making requests against a remote datasource with basic auth fails

What is the bug?

Currently, any PR raised that makes API calls against a remote datasource with basic auth enabled fails. Testing against real endpoints by overriding cypress.json environment variables is successful.

How can one reproduce the bug?

Raise any PR that makes requests with an Authorization header.

What is the expected behavior?

A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
