pkg/manifests: allow to configure enforced limits on PrometheusK8sConfig #1783

Conversation

Hello

These limits should be available also on ClusterMonitoringConfiguration and not only for UserWorkloadConfiguration:

  • enforcedLabelLimit
  • enforcedLabelNameLengthLimit
  • enforcedLabelValueLengthLimit
  • enforcedSampleLimit
  • enforcedTargetLimit
  • I added CHANGELOG entry for this change.
  • No user facing changes, so no entry in CHANGELOG was needed.

Hi @fgouteroux. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a openshift member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

@raptorsun One test is failed due to Cluster operator csi-snapshot-controller. Could we move forward without this test as it is not required ?

Thanks for your PR :)
No worries about the non-required test e2e-aws-single-node.
As @simonpasquier mentioned, we need check with product manager on this new feature PR.
