I don't think there is actually a problem to resolve on 4.7. The problem this fixes is that if a partial download occurs but does not succeed, the partial image will get left behind. This problem was introduced (by me) in #33, but that patch is not in 4.7. The problem of leaking large images on success is not solved by this (only #48 solves that), but it does not exist in 4.7 either as it was introduced in #26 which is also only in 4.8. So I believe it is safe to close this. |
