Issue type (bug report or feature request):
feature request Operating system (e.g. Fedora 24, Mac OS 10.11, Windows 10):
Ubuntu 18.04 Platform (e.g. 64-bit x86, 32-bit ARM):
64-bit x86 OpenSlide version:
3.4.1 Slide format (e.g. SVS, NDPI, MRXS):
MRXS
Details
I got some old MRXS files (from 2011) and slidedat.ini had
OBJECTIVE_MAGNIFICATION = 20x
OpenSlide complains:
Unable to open thefile.mrxs with OpenSlide: Key file contains key 'OBJECTIVE_MAGNIFICATION' in group 'GENERAL' which has a value that cannot be interpreted.
Workaround
Changing the line to
OBJECTIVE_MAGNIFICATION = 20
(i.e. removing the x) makes it work again
OpenSlide could recognize both 20 and 20x as valid
