I've made a simple BIMServer starting from the bimvie.ws/BIMSuferf V1 example and i like to update it to the new viewer, from where should i start? From the BIMSufer V2 or from the XeolGL framework? I guess these projects are related...

The main necesseties for my application are:

  • render the 3D model
  • get an event when the user select an element
  • have the possibility to change the aspect of one or more element given it's GUID/Oid

If you are getting started, take a look at Bimsurfer3 on maven repository. looks like it does not depend on xeogl anymore.

Really appreciate if you could provide a feedback on this @rubendel

@rubendel sorry to keep bugging you, are you planning on making the Bimsurfer 3 public? where can we find more information on how the project is progressing.

BIMsurfer 3 will be public yes, but I don't know when and I don't know on which github repository.
