How can i change the rotation parameter without restarting the minicap?

I resolve this problem by creating a transforing server for receiving the data stream from 1717 port and send this data package to 9002 port.when i want to change the rotation, shutdown the connection with 1717 port and restart the minicap server.this is not a good practice.

I also find that minicap server must be monitor with a living-thread,if i use
nohup ./minicap -P
to start it,the transforing server will not receive anything.
