I just came by a wacky interface message translation on Translatewiki, and found out that the original wasn't much better.

The Reading your messages heading in the messaging system should be replaced with the subject of the message (like in Gmail, and probably other messaging systems) or something that makes more sense / is simpler.

Who's "reading your messages"? I am ... reading ... my messages perhaps. Or is OSM reading my messages, anyway looks very awkward.

I agree that it doesn't make much sense, but equally I can't come up with anything much better.

Using the subject would just duplicate what we are already displaying underneath, and removing the subject from the main table would leave very little there... Probably what is really needed is a redesign of the whole view - perhaps something like this:

<subject>
from <user> at <time>

<body>

Hate to post unfinished pull requests nowadays, but #66 is a start at this.

We merged #66 some time ago, which fixes this.
