  • Browser: Edge 83.0.478.45
  • Operating System: Any
  • Stylus Version: Any

Please publish this great extension to Edge Chromium's store. Instructions for publishing could be seen here.

NOTE: no need to support legacy Edge.

no need to support legacy Edge

No need to support any Edge, since Edge is Chromium now. Flip a switch in settings and you can install extensions from Chrome Web Store. Why would we wanna volunteer to jump through hoops for yet another extension gallery?

Then at least add a note in README?

Nah, Edge is not important enough to mention there. If you wanna add a wiki entry, knock yourself out. It's open to the public.

Does publishing this extension on Edge Add-on store pose additional work?

What is the reasoning behind not publishing on Edge Add-on store?

Of course it's additional work, every gallery is a major PITA.

I can look into it the next time I update the stores

I'd prefer we not volunteer to support any more Chromium fork extension galleries. I wish we'd never bothered with Opera's store, but now we're kinda committed.

MS Edge is a nr. 3 browser with a tremendous market share world-wide (more than Firefox), being pre-installed on all modern Windows-based PCs and all...

And it doesn't look like it's going away any time soon.

So that outweighs the "Chromium fork" argument.

If market share is of any importance for the extension author, might want to make an exception in this case.

There's no "extension author", Stylus is a community effort.

Any changes in this argument?

There are many people (maybe more than 20% population in the worldwide) could not access Google Chrome store because of web filtering by goverment. (China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and so on)

Although a little people in these countires could fight with the filter system and access Google by proxy technology, but the most of population in these countries could not do it.

It will be a GREAT thing which providing Stylus through Microsoft Edge store to many people.

Please consider it. Thanks to all developers in Stylus community.

Only if someone could automate uploads to galleries so that it happens in unattended fashion when a v tag is pushed.

We could create a GitHub action similar to Refined GitHub
