On a fresh install of opensuse leap 42.2 beta:

zypper search -s salt-minion
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...

S | Name | Type | Version | Arch | Repository
--+-------------+---------+----------------+--------+---------------------------------------------------------
v | salt-minion | package | 2015.8.7-1.31 | x86_64 | Main Repository (OSS)
i | salt-minion | package | 2015.8.7-1.31 | x86_64 | openSUSE-42.2-0

When adding the systemsmanagement repo's from 42.1 which work:

search -s salt-minion
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...

S | Name | Type | Version | Arch | Repository
--+-------------+---------+----------------+--------+---------------------------------------------------------
i | salt-minion | package | 2016.3.2-7.1 | x86_64 | Testing EXPERIMENTAL Salt versions (openSUSE_Leap_42.1)
v | salt-minion | package | 2015.8.10-76.1 | x86_64 | SaltStack, dependencies, and addons (openSUSE_Leap_42.1)
