Hello,
I'm looking into ways to make the most of the gyro feature some new gamepads offer (PS5 Dualsense, Valve Controller, Switch Pro Controller). Using the gyro of the gamepad to freely look around could be a worthwhile feature, especially for simulations, from flying to racing and so on.
Would it be possible to add the gyro of those controllers as an input device for headtracking (in opentrack or in general)?
While there is an emulator available through Steam, that comes at the cost of sacrificing some other functions by using them for camera movement (mouse or joystick emu). Being able to make use of the NPClient integration most games already include would allow for a proper tracking solution.
Best regards
