Describe the bug
Filter by gene has been reported to be broken for the batch tools

To Reproduce
Test this by submitting some jobs and seeing of they filter by gene

The filtering-by-gene function is definitely broken on the batch validator.

I submitted a list of COL1A1 variants and tried to limit the search to variants in COL2A1. However, the validation completed for all submitted variants and none were excluded.
