Thank you for the project proposal. A few minor questions/comments. Let's plan on reviewing this at the next meeting on November 1. In addition, there is a new process that was introduced on October 18th that requires the following form to be completed: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeO1bDGHUP-ZpCo1uynm94YOxZlek6RhCH7o3FnX1lZSXXfSQ/viewform?fbzx=4351560609072672295. This will allow for the governance section to be added to the proposal.
Is this a separate project surely we need to ensure coordination across the other SD-JWT projects. |
I have added this to the November 15 TAC call. Please join us if you can to discuss with the larger community. |

I've posted a few comments as a follow-up of the call. Going to update the document itself this week.

Hi there, the DSR team is happy to apply our experience in Rust language and selective disclosure verifiable credentials to SD-JWT and the OpenWallet Foundation initiative. We'd like to propose the initial implementation of the latest version of the standard.
As a first step, we suggest having a minimal rust crate similar to Python implementation. We have PoC implementation, and if the Foundation approves the approach, we will be ready to open the codebase under the Apache 2.0 license in a few days.
Some other Rust implementations exist, but the ones we know are outdated or under inappropriate licenses.
