luci says my wifi "Device is not active" yet it scans from the command line
Linux OpenWrt 4.19.101 #0 SMP Thu Feb 13 20:35:13 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux
snapshot for Raspberry Pi 4
using built in wifi:
[ 7.815552] brcmfmac: brcmf_c_preinit_dcmds: Firmware: BCM4345/6 wl0: Nov 13 2019 04:39:05 version 7.45.198 (r723338 CY) FWID 01-369a6798
AND my USB wifi adapter scans but luci says the device is disabled.
[ 7.446793] RTL871X: rtl8812au v4.3.14_13455.20150212_BTCOEX20150128-51
[ 7.453881] RTL871X: rtl8812au BT-Coex version = BTCOEX20150128-51

I suspect this is why my Realtek doesn't work in luci.

This driver doesn't support WEXT, so using iwinfo or similar utilities will show incomplete output.

LuCI (and its iwinfo backend) only support proper cfg80211/mac80211 drivers.
