Error in guide: absolute path needed to restore pg_dump

Added an absolute path to pg_restore command, without that it does not work.

Hi Piotr,

if your working dir was in /var/db/openproject/backup or wherever you have placed the backup, of course the command would work. However I agree that providing the path makes it easier to understand for non-savy users.

Hi Oliver, Sure, but look at the context in the guide: https://docs.openproject.org/installation-and-operations/operation/restoring/ There are absolute paths everywhere when using tar, except restoring pgdump. I am new to Linux, but my guess is that it was assumed the working dir would be somewhere else, root, home or any other.
