Migrational Upgrades

Origin s9y Serendipity blog upgraders, please read this Upgrade Guide to check up which Styx version is required for migrations.
TLDR: For current 3.x branch upgrades you do need a running Styx 2.x branch first. Others are required to install Styx 2.9.5 version first, with the migrational version reset to 2.0.0 too for all required upgrade tasks!

Release zips and source-tagged GitHub zips differ in important aspects! The obvious difference is the installed directory name. For the Serendipity Autoupdate you need a named release file zip! This also is the preferred and recommended file, since it was created by the "create_release.sh" file process for permissions, integrity checksums, etc. If you want to help, for autoupgrades please enable Configuration - General Settings - Update notification option to "beta". This also works for stable releases.
