Describe the bug

After update to 23.7.6. (coming from 23.7.4) the contents of the DropDown-Menus in the GUI were missing. Tried different Browsers and cleared Browser-Cache. Tried a reboot. Bug still persists.

After a little research i found a posting on reddit.com with the same problem pointing to problems with the theme "cicada" is was using. After changing the Theme everything worked fine.

Expected behavior

Expected to work like on version 23.7.4.

Describe alternatives you considered

The workaround wos mentioned in the reddit post i mentioned above:

  • go to "System" -> "Settings" -> "General"
  • click on the drop down menu "Theme" (where cicada is active)
  • press Cursor Down and press Enter (you will see no change, but the next theme will be selected)
  • click "save" at bottom

Additional context

Seems only to be a problem with 23.7.6 and the theme "cicada". Changed my theme to "rebellion" which has a similar look.

Environment

OPNsense 23.7.6 (amd64, OpenSSL).
Plugin: os-theme-cicada 1.34_1
