IDS PT Research ruleset discontinued since Sep 22, 2022, completely remove it from OPNsense?

• I have searched the existing issues, open and closed, and I'm convinced that mine is new.

Since the IDS PT Research ruleset has been discontinued since Sep 22, 2022 (https://github.com/ptresearch/AttackDetection) it doesn't add value to OPNsense anymore. In the worst case, it can even create a false feeling of security for those not aware the ruleset is no longer being maintained.

Wouldn't it be best if the plugin would be discontinued as well and completely be removed from OPNsense?
