Unable to setup a development server

I'm facing problem while running the command "python -m scripts.start"

I figured that i'm using python 2.7 to compile the code, which is resulting in this error. But when I try to change the interpreter to python 3.7.10, it shows the same error.

I've also tried using command "python3 -m scripts.start", but it results in using python 3.8, which gives an error, saying, to use python 3.7.

Hey, did you follow the installation instructions and are yo using virtual environment for Oppia?

Yes, it seems that I'm using python 2.7.16 and not 3.7.10. But, even if i change my environment or use command pyenv global 3.7.10, it still sticks to python 2.7.16.
Could you please suggest me any solution for the same?

Try deactivating your conda env conda deactivate and try again.

It seems to use python 2.7.16 every-time. I have tried many different commands to try to switch it to python 3.7.10, but nothing's working :(

@Swayamshu I'm not sure if you did the Oppia setup in the conda environment or the outside it. Can you try to do the setup again outside the conda env?
