Recursion mapping: ord://{inscription id} vs /content/{inscription id} ?

While building more standard metadata, referencing an ordinal feels weird and an anti-pattern on most networks /protocols.

I understand there's a ton already minting with the content path, and that'll have to exist for backwards compatibility, but is anyone open to using the ord:// protocol prefix to match typical dev patterns found in NFT metadata and across multiple protocols? (http://, https://, ipfs://, etc)

Examples:
IPFS:
ipfs://{CID}

Hedera File Service
hfs://{topic id}

Ordinals:
ord://{Inscription id}
