Cannot install from own tap on linux (prompt for credentials)

I've installed brew on my linux server and when I try to run brew install devtonhere/bottle-test/olp then I'm asked to type in git credentials. When doing it I receive an error:

Then I've created a token and verified that it's set via echo $HOMEBREW_GITHUB_API_TOKEN. Also HOMEBREW_GITHUB_API_TOKEN: set is shown when I run brew config. But I'm still asked to type my github credentials.

Even if I use the token as a password I'm getting an error:

$ brew install devtonhere/bottle-test/olp

Symlinks are not working because of the class name requeirment:

I don't understand that. I've tried to create two kind of symlinks in my Formulae folder:

• ln -s olp@11.1.0.rb olp
• ln -s olp@11.1.0.rb olp.rb

Note that your repo needs to be named homebrew-bottle-test and not just bottle-test in order for brew install to work without doing brew tap first.

Your initial install command was failing because brew was trying to clone https://github.com/devtonhere/homebrew-bottle-test, a repo that does not exist.

You may wish to use brew tap-new to simplify the creation of taps.

That's not the correct folder though, the answer by gromgit mentions ls -l $(brew --repo homebrew/core)/Aliases and that is the folder your symlinks should be in: TAP_FOLDER/Aliases

ln -s ../Formula/olp@11.1.0.rb olp inside the Aliases folder did work!

The other error has somehow gone now:
