Hello @webNeat No, I don't, but the merged PR on the assembler already resolved the issue. So thanks to @thetutlage and Idea for you also. You can try the fix if you upgrade the packages. Theoretically could be much more efficient than the Polling. |

When I start
node ace serve --watch
on Raspberry Pi then I get an error. The limit is 8192 by default for watching on RPI. If I'm using the VS Code for development and the VS code also watches the files. If I'm run
ace server --watch
then I got an error with default settings.Possible solutions:
I found a solution to exclude files or directory in the VS Code and already excluded by default but this not enough: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/setup/linux#_visual-studio-code-is-unable-to-watch-for-file-changes-in-this-large-workspace-error-enospc
I saw the ace DevServer watches the node_modules directory files and there are lots of files.
https://github.com/adonisjs/assembler/blob/develop/src/DevServer/index.ts#L362
Wouldn't good idea exclude this directory from the watch??
or just provide a configuration file (for example:
.adonisrc.json
) where I can do this.If I change the code like this then everything works for me fine.
I would like to request a feature.
