bluetooth device battery through bluetoothctl info ?

Previously used to grab battery levels through bluetoothctl info but recent updates borked it. How to it retrieve it now ?

I don't know, but I think this might have something to do with a security bug (CVE-2023-45866) that was patched recently. @Vudentz might be able to explain.

I'm not sure I relate to this. Battery stats are just metadata provided by device itself. Isn't that how it works the same on Android/Windows ?

What device is that you are trying to read the battery level? I don't think we did anything to prevent loading the battery level, well except if perhaps the service is not loading the battery plugin or something like it.

It's just wireless earphones. info function used to print a lot of information about the headset (100+ lines). I used to grep the battery stats out from it.
But now it prints only little information (10 lines).

You mentioned battery plugin. What is it and how to use that service to get battery info?
