I wanted to get an invoice for my GitHub account with VAT of my company.
GitHub replied we will not give it to you if you don't pay bigger suit.
I contacted TAX revenue in EU to ask how to deal with that and official response is that everyone doing business on EU market must issue invoice and everyone making payments receive the invoice. Amount on invoice is irrelevant in way of legality. So I asked again, what about GitHub and replay is: That company is braking EU laws and you will be (my company) paying penalties for making payments (as company) to illegal beneficiary.
So thx GitHub for spitting on your EU users!
