Can I move Orbstack's files/root directory outside of $HOME?

I moved all of Docker Desktop's VM storage out of my $HOME directory and into /opt/Docker. Will it work for me to do the same for Orbstack by creating a symlink ~/.orbstack/data -> /opt/Orbstackor via some other configuration setting, or am I stuck with havingdata.imgunder$HOME`?

Among other reasons for wanting this is that data.img is an 8 TB sparse file, which means I cannot back it up to an HFS+ disk, whether using Time Machine or other backup tools. I still use HFS+ as a backup destination for an number of reasons, not least of which is the terrible performance of APFS on spinning platters. Moving it to /opt allows me to backup /opt to separate APFS SSDs on occasion without having it be part of my routine HFS+ backups.

Yes the storage location can be changed, but this doesn't move an existing storage location.

When you change storage location to something new, you end up with a blank slate - your existing containers etc. aren't moved. Because the data.img file is a huge sparse file, you can't just move it to the new location in Finder either (at least not on my machine) because there's not enough free space on the destination, so Orbstack having some functionality to move / migrate an existing setup to a new drive would be great.
