Thanks for the feedback. While I understand the situation, Vercel currently cannot support TLDs that don't support Whois privacy. This is the main reason we can't support those domains you listed as an example. Unfortunately, due to multiple factors (customer privacy, data security, etc) this isn't something we can work on very soon. But we're aware of the needs and your feedback is definitely heard. |

I'd rather use vercel without whois privacy than all the other shitty domain platforms out there |

With the untimely demise of Google Domains, I and many others are looking to another provider to be able to consolidate our registrar requirements elsewhere.
Vercel are becoming the gold standard for small companies and hobbyists like myself to run all our web based infrastructure. I thoroghly enjoy the care and attention your team apply to features you release.
One area which is sorely lacking at present is broader TLD support. Most countries TLDs are not supported and we don't really have a roadmap for if they ever will be. To be clear here I am referring to using Vercel as a registrar not simply pointing a domain to Vercel. I understand this is already possible with any domain.
This is obviously a very timely issue due to the number of teams that must be re-evaluating the registrar landscape. It would be great to get some feedback from the Vercel team.
Very few registrars seem to cater for everyone (mainly due to each country and authority having weird requirements) but Vercel support is currently severely lagging here (outside NA anyway):
