+1 Gridder is really unusable by today's standards. There's no focusable elements or ARIA cues when the overlay is open, etc. Sadly, Codrop's version from 2013 is in an equal sad state.

You're 100% right. Someone needs to give it some love and update it to today standards. I'll try, but free time is a rare commodity nowadays for me.
