Native library not supported on LG G7 fit #7047
Comments
Besides the river bed there are also no landuses rendered. Looks like you disabled them. Take a look at Configure map -> Hide -> Polygons. Did you select this option? |
No, I didn't change any of the default options.

Seems like the cause of this problem was the error "native library not supported" when starting the app (see the edit of my original issue report). Interesting is however that this only occurs sometimes. I tried to reproduce the issue again and was now able to start the app without receiving this message, and rivers were drawn correctly. |
I have the same issue. Message 'native library not supported' displayed for short time when starting the app. Map looks like on lukaszkalnik screenshot. It happens occasionally, every Osmand version during last half year or so. Couldn't find the way to reproduce consistently. Mostly it happens when Osmand starts for the first time after phone reboot, but not always. Sometimes it happens after previous normal app start in the same boot cycle. When it happens, I find 'safe mode' checked in general settings (I did not set it). I have to close Osmand, swipe it away from recent apps, then it starts correctly. Also 'safe mode' goes back to unchecked. If I try to check 'safe mode' on purpose, it goes back to unchecked after Osmand close, swipe away from recent apps and restart. Android 8.1 stock, both Samsung Galaxy J7 and Samsung Galaxy M30. |
This is the problem when native library is not supported. Sometimes it crashes during start, so the whole app needs to be restarted. |
@vshcherb Is it possible to add native library support for these devices so it doesn't crash? |
It works on these devices but it crashes sometimes so it makes problem to investigate more difficult. We would need the actual device to debug I guess,so I think we will pay more attention if we've get it reproducible on our dev devices |
I get symptoms identical to those described by @goran88 on a Galaxy S9 (stock USA Verizon). Which devices are expected or not expected to support the native library? |
Same issue here. HTC U11 running Android 9. Is it possible that this causes routing issues as well or it's a totally different issue? |
Encountering this issue on a LG Velvet 5G (Android 11 Security patch May 2021) sometimes. Restarting app seems to fix it. |
When I start the app on an LG G7 fit with Android 8.1 I sometimes get the message "native library not supported on this device".
OsmAnd+ 3.3.8.
Later this problem seems to cause the rivers not to be displayed in full width. Regardless of the scale they are only displayed as a line.
For comparison the same area rendered correctly on an LG Nexus 5 with Android 6:
