[enhancement] long distance route computing including your advice

In your faq you advise for long distance route computing to cut in several 250 km routes our itinerary by using via points.

It's not possible if the conditions are :

• you are a bike trekker with your tent
• you don't know what town to put as via point because you don't know the country even your own country
• with the screen of a smartphone you search along a straight line the towns every 250 km
• how to measure 250 km ?

This kind of work is when you are at home with your PC.

Please include in your algorithm your advice :

• Search the via points 250 km apart
• Cut the computing in several computing routes defined by the via points
• Joint the several found itineraries

If this gets implemented then please make it an optional setting. It is very easy to calculate routes up to 1000 km by using a profile with a higher heuristic coefficient.

It is kind of another look at Adventure mode which we collect feedback to get implemented and indeed we will need to tweak heuristic coefficient to be not precise and allow to calculate longer routes

What are profiles with a higher heuristic coefficient?

My idea would be: Do a quicker route calculation using heuristics (choose towns as intermediaries that result in reasonable routes, use officially offered trails) and then refine it in the background. This provides an estimate which is sometimes mainly what I need.
