Future of ossbuild in light of SDK announcement by Fluendo and Collabora

I'd like to know what the future plans are for ossbuild in light of the recent announcement of an SDK by Fluendo and Collabora. There are blog posts about it, by Thomas Vander Stichele and Christian Schaller, as well as press releases by Collabora and Fluendo.

There has been no code released yet, and they've indicated they won't do so until they're ready for a first release, and there's no schedule for that either.

Ya know, I'm a bit curious to know myself. Andoni has worked on this project as well. I assume he's taking his experience here to the next level. :D But it would make sense for both our projects to work together since we have a good deal of collective experience. e.g. I'd like it if the SDK was built using our builds (at least for the 3rd party dependencies). OSSBuild has been a bit stalled for a while because I've had a change in jobs and other things going on in my personal life and have been adjusting. I'll get back in the saddle ASAP.

Since we're on the subject -- I suppose I'm a bit surprised that they didn't reach out to us at all. We're not unknown in the GStreamer community...

Ah, I didn't realize Andoni worked at Fluendo. No wonder his development on OSSBuild ceased; why pass up such a great PR opportunity.

So now that the GStreamer SDK is out, does anyone foresee continuing development of this project, or should we consider the project dead?
