Minecraft2D is a 2D sandbox game using OpenGL.

• Java: 17+
• OpenGL: 1.5+

Due to the official website has refactored, the content this below are invalid.

Minecraft2D 0.3.0 has shadowed all libraries, so you can use command java -jar mc2d-0.3.0.jar in terminal.

Since 0.5.0, you must play game with the launcher.

Since 0.6.0, game is distributed with the Application Plugin.

Keybindings

• Esc: Pause and save the world
• A/Left Arrow: Move left
• D/Right Arrow: Move right
• Space/W/Up Arrow: Jump
• Enter: Save the world
• F3: Turn on/off the debug HUD
• Z/Comma/Period (z/,/.): Change z mode
• E: Open/close the inventory
• G: Generate human entity

Jvm Arguments

• -Dmc2d.log.disableAnsi=<default true|false>: disable or enable ansi escaping (color, etc.)
