G'day to all the contributors on this project!

I would like to ask if this could generate code blocks from a remote git repository --- more specifically, from GitHub itself --- like GitHub already does when mentioning lines on an issue.
I have "scanned" the README, but, at a first glance, I couldn't find anything about a git repository.

Much obliged in advance.

I know that pandonc can load pictures (jgm/pandoc#750) and documents from the internet, so I guess it's possible technically.

What if we tried to get the git repository instead of a file folder and "parse it" into this module using some sort of "libgit"?
That's an interesting idea and I'm willing to aid on it as much as my time permits.
