login fails with long passwords

login with a 20 char password is answered with "something went wrong". Login with shorter passwd works fine. Maybe, 20 char are paranoid, but the message could be more specific.

Weird, are you using the ownCloud Android App as well? Does the login work there?
If you're familar with the usage of curl, please try to acccess the news api via curl.

I don't know why the login should fail (client-side). Probably this is a server issue.
Anyways I'm going to check this issue.

Okaay.. almost one year later I probably found the issue. Which Android Version do/did you use? Android 2.x ?
Hopefully the issue is fixed now (Fix will be available in 0.9.4).
