When I open the news-app there is only an empty page after my upgrade to OwnCloud 7.0

Stable 7 branch is a development branch which is not ready yet.

Please give me some logs, empty page means php error (data/owncloud.log)

But now, after restarting apache, it seems to work.

cache issue probably?

Definitely! Yesterday evening, I had the same problems on an other PC. Tonight there was still the problem. After pressing F5 to reload the page, everything works. So, not the restart of Apache solved the problem, but the reload after the restart did.
