[Bug] distorted/clinched space thumbnails in list view

Describe the bug

The list view of the project spaces overview has distorted/clinched thumbnails.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a space
2. Set a cover image with a non-square (not 1:1) aspect ratio

Expected behavior

Like in file lists, see a cropped, square part of image.

Actual behavior

The original image resolution gets compressed to a 1:1 aspect ratio without cropping anything. Resulting thumbnail looks clinched, see screenshots.

Remarks

Not sure if this is a frontend or backend issue. Opening in web for analysis, please move to ocis repo if it's a backend issue.
