Announce two-staged process consideration
(Also, full-specialty-tagged a couple more Sep 27) * Did some more rough Specialty Tagging calcs * Tagging a record with specialties from one big Noso Memo v14 block (tested on Medicine) took around 2.5mins * For any short Noso Memo v14 block, it is likely possible to conduct tagging in under 1min * Primary appraisal actually takes a little more than 2mins, more like 2.5mins or 3mins * Consequently, in sum, one record would take around 2.5+2.5×3+1×5=15mins * Each day I get 440 records ≈ roughly 500 recs, which is ~15k records monthly * So this is 15×15,000÷60=3,750h of monthly work * Which takes 20 full-time 192-week jobs * I could estimate all these more precisely; however, it would change the big idea: I need quite a lot of collaborators and quite a lot of money to pay them, so that’s too much for me to raise initially * Therefore, I’m thinking about dropping Specialty Tagging Sessions and doing full tagging during primary appraisal * At the same time, this would give us around 32 records appraised per a work day * Incidentally, this is also close to a 10% mark with regard to the average daily count of 440 records; thus, I could try doing 44 records daily * Even further, I could try doing 10% of the records downloaded on the latest available date * This would give me clarity as to how big a fraction of the Zheln mission I’m currently accomplishing (would be 10%); also, this would indicate clearly how many collaborators I require to make it 100% (9 more) * One last thing: Need to decide what to do with appraisals done on Sundays (need to clear one day) * Probably could actually set the target to 7% (32÷440=7.3%) so that I could share the Sun load on weekdays * However, I don’t like 7% because it’s less intuitive, though it’s more evidence-based * I can start with the goal of 10% per day plus the Sunday load dispersed between the weekdays and see how it goes * If I don’t manage, I’ll be dropping the target by 1% each time unless I manage * Also, if, incidentally, I manage easily at 10%, I’ll be increasing this by 1% each time unless I get to the point I don’t manage * Now this would be evidence-based!
