I am really in need of the forceMount feature from #101, and I am unable to use this package directly as a github dependency since I am using npm and you are using pnpm (getting npx only-allow pnpm)

So I was wondering when the next release will be so I can use that new feature

+1 on this. is there a reason that the published npm package is 4 feature commits and 5 fixes behind @pacocoursey? really nice work with cmdk otherwise.

It's coming! I'd like to get #117 landed and then I'll release a new version. Sorry for the delay.

I've had to build my version, we need forceMount asap!

I made an internal release for my project because I needed contentClassName and overlayClassName urgently. For people needing a release, you can use npm i carloslfu-cmdk-internal as a temporal workaround. Here is the bundled code and NPM link.

What is blocking the release? Anything that can be helped with?

When is the next release? I am waiting for a fix for the backspace bug, which has been merged, but no release yet.

@pacocoursey Any updates? This backspace bug fix #176 is crucial and very very important :)

I guess they are busy. I don't think asking the same question again and again will help 👀 🤓 😬. However, If you really need it for instance for fixing the backspace bug, you can do any of the following:

  1. Build the project, publish it to NPM, and use it.
  2. Use an unofficial build from someone else.

For 2, you can use mine, carloslfu-cmdk-internal. I commented about it here #129 (comment). I just updated it with the latest from main to use it for my project. Here is the code: https://github.com/carloslfu/cmdk. The project using this package is OSS, here is the commit updating the version: commit link.
