Swipe when you mark text

When you mark some text in the editor from right to left or from left to right, you swipe to the settings of the page. I think this is because of the touch"ability".

This is horrible. I call that a bug. It is unintentional behavior. When I want to select text, then I don't want to switch the tab doing that, duh? If I want to switch the tab, I click on the tab, that's what it's there for. It makes the editor nearly unusable. I searched for help, in the the Pagekit forum it was also discussed as a bug, and people work their way around that by switching to another browser other than Firefox. Please, someone address this and fix it.
