Setup of the development machine

Software versions

OS: Ubuntu 12.04 (LTS)
PostgreSQL: 9.1
PostGIS: postgresql-9.1-postgis-2.0 (haven't build PostGIS from its source)
GeoServer: Comes with cartaro installation
Java: java version "1.6.0_31"
PHP version, extensions and configuration (full output of "php -i"): 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.11
Webserver: tomcat7
Type of PHP deployment: mod_php

phpinfo() PHP Version => 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.11

Important thing noted during cartaro installation that we have to build PostGIS from source as a part of prerequisite.
