Is there a way to prevent password change for a read only user? I'm using Paperless to provide access to archived newspapers in a public library. Is there a way to prevent a user from changing password and other account info? I'm back on Paperless-ngx 2.5.1 but will upgrade soon. The idea here is to allow read only patron access with a single account. |

Fun to learn our software will be used like this 😊 The short answer is no, not at the configuration level. But what I do for the demo is to block it at the reverse-proxy level (actually for the demo i block it at the cloudflare level, but the same principle applies). Something like: This will effectively prevent editing the user and doesn’t have any negative effects otherwise |
