[question] How to make my own variation of audio-x-generic.svg icon? #3708
Comments
may i ask if you want this change to be incorporated into Papirus? Audio mimetype colours were established years ago, in #580 |
No, that was not my intention.
I felt that unrelated topic to my question. I just want to know how too generate my own icon based on the audio-x-generic.svg like the flac icon is green but I want to generate a bunch of different colors so that I can make my file icons for each of the audio codecs that I listed before. |
well, you can just change the colours inside the .svg file with a text editor. i don't see how you would 'generate' them. why not do it manually? |
is your intention to make your own version of Papirus with new coloured audio mimetype icons? and to do it automatically? i don't see how this is an icon request. |
I thought the colors schemes where generated mathematically based on a base color but I it seems that I was wrong.
No.
I there was only two options, bug and icon request. I think icon request made more sense and I also didn't want to make it seem urgent. If there was a option for question then I would have used it but I think those assigned manually. |
I want to make different variations for my most common used audio formats. examples
wav, flac ,mp3, wv, and opus
.Is it possible to use a hex color for example
#618ECE
as the starting base color then it spits out a variant base on that color or is it only work when generics colors like blue, green , red and others. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
