Requirement

Datasheets need to be revised to ensure all necessary data and metadata is captured at the time of the event.

• Datasheets must be fully aligned with experimental design in that they capture all necessary data and metadata
• Data entry forms for paper datasheets must be aligned with paper datasheets to reduce cognitive load on data entry operator and source of transcription errors
• Datasheets must be version controlled
• There must be a notification system for datasheet users for datasheet updates so that data collectors always use the latest datasheet
• Datasheets need to capture complete, consistent and correct data, while avoiding
  capturing unnecessary detail.
• Datasheets should provide enough guidance to the data collector on providing the
  desired data formats and precision.
