Requirement

The solution shall include clear and up to date documentation, training and available support.

This requires:

• procedures to be updated (possibly involving other departmental stakeholders, e.g. for wildlife incidents, wildlife rehab)
• one-off update and ongoing maintenance of documentation of procedures
• one-off training for data related roles like collectors, curators, analysts
• ongoing support for data related roles
• a tight feedback loop to incorporate experience from data related roles into procedures and documentation.

Use cases

• A new data collector (staff, collaborator or volunteer) is provided with training, documentation and clear procedures.
• Existing data collectors are provided with regular training and refreshers. Their experience and suggestions are fed back into the process.
• A data collector has a question or suggestion, and can turn to a central contact to answer the question or capture the suggestion.
