Custom Category page

Hi, this isn't a bug or an error, but how do we create a custom category page in the B Reloaded theme?

In older versions of default WP themes, we just create a category-categoryname.php file.

It should be the same in this theme to create custom category pages. Did you try and it didn't work?

I've just stepped away from my computer for a while but once I'm back at it in 2ish hours I can try this and see if I can help you make it happen :)

Wait I think I know what you mean now. Is it because this theme has no category.php or archive.php files?

Category pages are generated with the index.php template so you could either duplicate that and rename or you could base it on the single.php file and both should work.

Let me know if that helps, if not I'll look more closely at how to do it when I'm at my computer.

Glad this is now sorted, I'll leave the issue open for a little while until I can put a category template in place in the theme to make this easier in future.

I appreciate you pointing it out to me as I hadn't considered it a problem before now :)
