This repository tracks the devlopment of the articles of the DSM directive that are directly relevant to colutural heritage institutions from the original proposal to the final directive.
The articles tracked are article 5 (preservation exception, renumbered in the final version as article 6), 7-9 (access to out of commerce works, renumberd in the final version as Articles 8-11). In addition it tracks the development of the article 14 (public doamin clause, that started as an addition to article 5) and article 12 (extended collective licensing, that started as article 9a).
