Protocol rules for organic compounds with a hydroperoxide group

The only protocol rule for alkyl hydroperoxides is the distinction by branching. The photolysis of peroxyacids (PAAs) is estimated with peracetic acid (CH3CO(OOH)) as surrogate. Details can be found in the table and schematic below.
