Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It'd be easier to get an overview of available color schemas if the dropdown list inside settings would render to use more of the available vertical space.

Describe the solution you'd like

Render a taller dropdown list if more vertical space is available.

Describe alternatives you've considered

None.

Additional context

Screenshot from v23.9.2 on Windows 11 22621.2134.

Output from the debug section in the settings dialog

I guess that depends on the Operating System / Desktop environment.

Mine shows all items under KDE (NixOS)...

But I can set them to 15. I'll not go above that because of issues with small screen sizes.

23.9.4

  • amount of items in the schema drop-down in the Editor fonts & colors settings
was increased to 15 to make it easier to see the schemes (for #2841)

Awesome @pbek. :) Will try to test it today.

Btw, I saw that the list acted more as expected when I tested on Pop!_OS yesterday.

Might be Windows scaling that is doing something here too. I got a 27" 1440p monitor with 150% scaling.

Yes, often the operating system takes those matters into their own hands...

There now is a new release, could you please test it and report if it works for you?
